Blaine chukled and nodded. “Yeah, no going home, or I’ll miss half my shift because of it.” He winked at him, then agreed to the idea of doing some grocery shopping together before they headed their separate ways for the day, then as they were about to go to the car, he stopped and listening to Kurt making the call to his agent; he chuckled when he himself was able to hear the woman’s screeching on the other side of the phone, apparently happy with his choice. Their choice. He kissed him back and smiled. “Yes, let’s go. What’s important is that our adult selves are in this together, always.” They got into the car and headed to the supermarket, where, after they parked outside, they grabbed a cart and thoroughly filled it up with every item they deemed necessary, for each one of them individually, for Mabel, and for the apartment. In little under an hour they were standing in queue to pay for their products at the cash register, and after everything was bagged, they headed back to the car, pushing the cart along. Life together was good, even more an adult one. “Time for you to drive me to work, baby” he smiled at him when they got into the car and drove away.
Kurt loved the time that he was getting to have alone with his absolutely sweet and perfect husband. They shopped together, leaning against the bicep of his husband while they walked along together to the car, happily smiling as they packed the car together. It was something that was so simple and yet it made him beam brightly, he loved sharing these little grown up moments with Blaine and he grinned softly when his man spoke “Yeah, let’s go” he happily climbed into the car and drove Blaine to work, parking in one of the employee spaces in the back and looked to his husband “Now if you’re going to be held up you call me, and let me know if you need me to come up at any point” he smiled, leaning over and hugging his husband tightly, kissing him softly while his hand ran through the man’s hair slowly as he possibly could. He pulled back and smiled “Have a good day at work honey” he smiled, sitting back in his seat and just smiling to his husband, glad that he was able to see the man off to work.
