Blaine stood perfectly still while Kurt made the necessary tucks and fits into his costume, which Kurt had made especially for him. Seeing him working like that was a pure joy, because Blaine knew that if there was anyone who know about fashion and style, it was his husband. Under the blindind shine of one of the most talented Broadway stars, laid a closeted fashionista who never missed a chance into doing anything fashion-related work when he could. And so, he held his breath calmly until all the pins were in place, then he looked at him with a smile. “I’m sure it looks perfect, baby. But let’s have a look!” He walled up to the mirror and grinned, then looked back at his beloved persons who were watching him with expectation. “Wonderful, just as I suspected it. I’ll go take it off. I’ll be right back, okay?” He walked into his room, not really a big fan of undressing in front of his daughter, then changed into a pair of comfortable sweats and a pink t-shirt and walked out of the room. “Here we go…” He carefully gave Kurt the custome back, then clapped his hands together. “Okay! What now? Oh, run-through! Right!” He chuckled, then went in all hurry to set the CD ready, so it would start playing whenever they need it to. He was really excited about the whole thing, and of course, also quite nervous, because he wanted everything to be perfect, which it would no doubt be, with Kurt by his side.

Seeing Blaine completely in his costume was amazing as could be, he was a master at wearing clothes. Kurt knew that he could put his husband in literally anything and he knew that he would look amazing as possible. The smaller man adored the way that they were able to work together and he loved the little looks that they shared while they worked and he let out a small sigh just seeing his husband walk about looking just perfect “Thank you honey” he said and he happily distracted Mabel by getting her to help him fold some of the extra fabric before finally saw his husband again looking perfect in his pink shirt and Kurt took the outfit from his husband and he happily put it beside his sewing machine, he’d work on it a little later and take everything in just right and he looked to his husband and giggled, before leaning down to Mabel “Honey go sit on the couch… daddy needs the audience” he smiled and watched as she happily went to the sofa and Kurt giggled a little at her run which was sweet as could be. He followed her happily out to the lounge room and saw Blaine setting up “Someone’s eager” he grinned and slipped over to kiss his cheek as lightly as possible, holding Blaine’s arm “OK so if we’re going to do the run through from the top you have to move so I can do the opening” he giggled and kissed his cheek as lightly as possible before gently pulling Blaine to one side and starting the CD, Mabel bounced eagerly as possible as the music started and Kurt went into the opening of their little performance, the legendary Boy Next Door and even though it was for an audience of their daughter he still gave it his all and he belted out every single note.
